No, Zip Code Wilmington does not have a job guarantee arrangement. There is no tuition refund of tuition if a student fails to get a job within a stipulated period after graduation.

How Much Does Zip Code Wilmington Cost?

The tuition for a Zip Code Wilmington course is $12,000. Since the school has many financing options, students can either pay this sum upfront or pay $6,000 to start. Then, if the graduate secures a job with one of the school’s corporate partners and remains employed for 26 weeks, the other half of the tuition will be waived.

If the former student does not get offered a job at one of the school’s corporate partners, they must pay the remaining $6,000 once they are employed.

How to Pay for Zip Code Wilmington: Scholarships, ISAs, Installments

Zip Code Wilmington has a few financing options for its students. The best options are scholarships and what the school calls “student tuition agreement.”

Scholarships

This online bootcamp has several types of scholarships. The first is a need-based scholarship of $6,000, awarded to students below the US poverty level who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford the course.

Veterans, students on active military duty, military reserve members, and their spouses may also be eligible for scholarships from tech R&D company InterDigital.

ISAs

Although Zip Code Wilmington does not offer income share agreements, it does have a student tuition agreement. Students who work for one of Zip Code Wilmington’s partners as an apprentice or employee for at least 26 weeks after graduating will have half of their tuition waived.

Loan Financing

Sadly, Zip Code Wilmington does not offer any loan options for students.

Installments

These bootcamps allow installment payments if the student starts by making an initial deposit of $6,000 before the course starts. Then, they will finish paying off the remaining $6,000 by the end of the 12-week course.

GI Bill

Veterans who have unexpired GI Bill entitlement at the start of their course may be eligible for housing or tuition assistance.

Prep courses are introductory classes to be completed before a bootcamp starts. However, Zip Code Wilmington does not offer any of these courses.

Data Engineering and Analytics – In-Person | Online

The Data Engineering and Analytics course features workshops, lectures, group projects, events, coding homework, and labs. Throughout the course, students will learn to visualize and analyze data using programming languages such as R, Python, SQL, and other pipelines and frameworks. The curriculum also covers data processing, ingestion, and extraction.

Java – In-Person | Online

The Java course at Zip Code Wilmington focuses on software engineering. Students enrolled in this course will study the fundamentals of software engineering. In the process, they will work with Typescript, JavaScript, Java, JUnit, MySQL, and Maven.

The class also covers other critical aspects of software development, such as Agile methodology, version control, and frameworks. Instructors aim to provide students with insight into what it’s like to work as a professional software engineer. As with the data science bootcamp, this course also includes workshops, live lectures, and speaking events by professionals.

What Is the Zip Code Wilmington Schedule?

The Zip Code Wilmington bootcamps are only offered on a full-time basis. It requires a major time commitment, so attending this school if you are already working full time will be difficult.

Full-Time

Each full-time bootcamp lasts 12 weeks. During this time, students will learn all the skills necessary to land an entry-level job in software engineering or data science. The bootcamps run from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Students should expect to dedicate more than 100 hours to course attendance and study each week in order to succeed.

Application Process
