How to Pay for V School: Scholarships, ISAs, Installments

V School has a few payment options to help students cover tuition costs. These include loans, income share agreements (ISAs), and GI Bill benefits. Before you choose a specific payment option, talk to a member of the admissions team to find the best option for you.

Up-front Payment

Up-front payment is the most straightforward way to pay for tuition, if you can afford to pay the whole tuition amount at the start of the program. Students won’t have to pay any interest rates that may accrue with other financing options.

ISAs

Income share agreements (ISAs) are a financing option similar to deferred tuition. Students pay nothing or a small fee as a deposit. They only pay back their full tuition costs after securing employment.

Students then pay back their tuition in monthly installments. This is usually a percentage of the students’ salary for a specific amount of time. Talk to a member of V School’s admissions team to find out more about the repayments.

Student Loans

Students attending bootcamps might not qualify for federal financial aid loans. Fortunately, V School has partnered with loan providers including Climb Credit, Skills Fund, and Upstart to offer loans with reasonable interest rates. Students need to have a good credit score to qualify for these loans.

GI Bill

Veterans are welcome to use GI Bill benefits to pay for programs at V School. GI Bill benefits can cover the entire cost of tuition for qualified veterans.

Scholarships

V School offers four scholarships. These are the Community Relief Scholarship, the Meritorious Veteran Scholarship, the You Belong in Tech Scholarship, and the Apartment and Housing Rentals Foundation Scholarship.

The Community Relief Scholarship covers up to $4,000 for students who have been negatively affected by COVID-19, especially those who’ve lost their jobs. The Meritorious Veteran Scholarship covers the full cost of tuition and is available to certain veterans.

The You Belong in Tech Scholarship also covers 100 percent of tuition costs. This scholarship is available to people of color, women, LGBTQ+, refugees, veterans, and those facing financial hardships.
